An Indica dominant hybrid of legend, blueberry was one of the first Cannabis hybrids, bred by famous breeder DJ Short in his closet in Oregon in the 70s. Allegedly a cross of purely Thai genetics (both indica and sativa landrace strains from Thailand exist) modern blueberry comes in many slightly differing variants. This version is heavily indica dominant, offering a heavy body high and relaxing effects. It also generally a very pest and disease resistant strain, and many phenotypes present some degree of genetic purpling. Some plants may present as a deep dark green. Most phenotypes smell and taste sweet and fruity like ripe berries, with undertones of earthiness, although some plants may have the earthier smells more in dominance.
